(Satellite of EASTMAG-2016)
Format of the seminar OKNO-2016 is school-conference. Young scientists make short oral presentations (15 minutes) based on their researches devoted by problems in the high-temperature superconductivity and physics of nanostructures. They also have opportunity to get acquainted with the current achievements in these fields with help of the invited review talks (45 minutes) of leading experts from various international research institutes and universities.
Seminar OKNO has been held since 2002. This event was conceived as a platform which gives to young scientists from three cities in the Siberian region, Omsk, Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk (hence and the title of the seminar) experience in the presentation of their results in the condensed matter physics and high-temperature superconductivity and also helps to share knowledge between scientific schools in these cities. Seminar OKNO has been organized alternately in one of the three cities Omsk, Novosibirsk and Krasnoyarsk. In 2004 Ekaterinburg has joined to the composition of participating cities of OKNO. In this year the geography of the event has grown significantly with the participation of young scientists from Moscow, Irkutsk and Tashkent and invited speakers from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom and Tokyo Institute of technology, Japan. That is why the status of OKNO is changed to the international seminar. Due to organization of the large international conference on magnetism EASTMAG 2016 in august 2016 in Krasnoyarsk, the international OKNO seminar is planned as the satellite event to the EASTMAG conference to be organized a few days earlier.

The seminar will be held at the L.V. Kirensky Institute of Physics, Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences (IP SB RAS) and Siberian Federal University, Krasnoyarsk. Accommodation at dormitories of Siberian Federal University is planned.
